PREDICTIONS

Here are a few predictions for the 2018.1 OSCE

Please remember that these are my hunches. It is harder to predict the OSCE than the Written as they don't really release the OSCE Exams. However here are my predictions. I am only giving topics here. Remember there may be ECGs and gases and X-rays involved. It may be a simple history taking.
  1. Upper Limb Examination
  2. Chest tube insertion
  3. Patient with Syncope
  4. The Seizing patient- remember hyponatraemia
  5. Propranolol OD
  6. Ectopic Pregnancy
  7. Complaint Management
  8. Anaphylaxis
  9. Acute AMI and arrhythmia ie wide complex tachycardia
  10. PE in pregnancy
  11. DKA in a child
  12. Reversal of anticoagulation in patient with intracranial bleed
  13. Disaster Planning
  14. The Agitated Patient
  15. Examination of the Eyes
Thats it. As I have said, just make sure you know these topics but I can't guarantee they are on. BUT I hope they are all on the exam for you.

GOOD LUCK! Let us know how you go.
